The SVU Raid on Engineer Rajiv Kumar has exposed alleged illegal assets worth crores in Bihar. The Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) registered a case against Rajiv Kumar, an executive engineer in the Urban Development and Housing Department, for owning assets beyond his known income.
Officials launched the SVU Raid on Engineer Rajiv Kumar at three locations in Patna. Teams searched his office at Pant Bhavan and two residential flats linked to him. The operation started after investigators suspected he had accumulated wealth far greater than his legal earnings.
According to investigators, Rajiv Kumar allegedly acquired about ₹1.10 crore in assets that do not match his known income sources. Authorities registered the case under sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Search operations are still ongoing as officers examine documents and financial records. Officials expect to uncover more details about movable and immovable properties linked to the engineer.
Authorities say strict action will follow if the allegations prove true. The government may also move to seize any illegal property connected to the case.
