Swiggy Instamart Silver Coins Mix-Up Leaves Customer Shocked

Swiggy Instamart Silver Coins Mix-Up

A bizarre incident involving Swiggy Instamart silver coins mix-up has gone viral after a user shared his experience on X (formerly Twitter).

Vineeth K said he ordered silver coins from the app but instead received packets of Maggi and Haldiram. Only one sealed pouch in the order contained the coins. The delivery partner told him he could either accept the entire order or cancel it. After spending 40 minutes with customer care, Vineeth finally kept the sealed pouch and asked the delivery partner to take back the rest.

The ordeal didn’t end there. Vineeth claimed that the silver he received was of lower purity—925 sterling silver instead of 999 silver, which he had ordered. Calling it a big blunder, he expressed frustration over both the wrong items and the quality mismatch.

Following his viral post, Swiggy sent a replacement. While most of the coins in the second delivery were 999 purity, two were still 925. Vineeth once again urged Swiggy to fix the issue.

The story sparked sharp reactions online. Many netizens questioned why anyone would order high-value items like gold or silver from an instant delivery app instead of a jewellery store.
