Addressing the media, Sanjay remarked that Congress leaders should think twice before making baseless allegations . “I have been a public representative for over 30 years . How would those who failed to win as ward members know about the votes? If INC leaders come onto the streets with such claims, they may face strong public backlash ,” he said, indirectly warning them against political theatrics.

He further added that if Congress returns to power , he would step back from active politics, showing confidence in his party’s leadership and governance. Sanjay’s statements reflect rising political tension ahead of upcoming local body elections in Telangana. The remarks have sparked debates among political observers about accountability and electoral transparency.
