He explained that he underwent bypass surgery and doctors advised complete rest.

Kodali Nani added that he could not participate in public programs due to his recovery. He said he would attend similar people’s movements for the next six months. After that period, he promised to return to active public life and take up issues as before.

He also stated that he would continue to fight for people’s concerns. He said several irregularities in the state would be exposed. Nani declared that all efforts would be made by him to face challenges and work to bring Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy back as Chief Minister.

Speaking from the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli on Thursday, September 25, he stated that both sectors have been completely mismanaged, leaving poor and marginalized communities deprived.

Shailajanath highlighted that while Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy established a medical college in Padere to provide better healthcare for tribal populations, the coalition government is preventing access for underprivileged students. He warned that privatization of medical colleges would severely impact poor and middle-class families.

He also criticized ministers like Satyakumar for spreading misinformation and acting more as BJP representatives than state ministers. Shailajanath emphasized that under YSRCP rule, all medical colleges will be returned to government management, ensuring affordable education and healthcare for all citizens.

He alleged that the current administration has no intention of delivering justice to the underprivileged, as evident from the restrictions imposed on the YSRCP’s *“Chalo Medical College”* protest.

Siddharth Reddy questioned Naidu’s track record, asking whether even a single government medical college was established during his regime. In contrast, he highlighted that Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had worked to strengthen public health and expand medical education through the setting up of multiple new government medical colleges .

He further criticized the coalition government for targeting YSRCP leaders and activists, stating that such actions only expose its anti-people stance. Siddharth Reddy vowed that his party would continue to resist policies that undermine the poor and defend Jagan’s vision for equitable healthcare and education.

Parvati pointed out the hypocrisy of *Venkaiah Naidu, who benefitted from NTR’s legacy but failed to acknowledge him when it mattered. She also accused **Chandrababu* of privatizing medical colleges, which she argued harms poor people.

Parvati further slammed *TDP leaders* for their claim of awarding *Bharat Ratna* to NTR, recalling how *Chandrababu Naidu* had opposed this honor when it was proposed by leaders like *Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

YSRCP leader R.K. Roja launched a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Anita, criticizing her recent remarks on medical colleges. Speaking to the media, Roja challenged Anita to personally visit the Rajahmundry, Vizianagaram, Nandyal, Machilipatnam, and Paderu medical colleges to see their facilities and the students studying there.

Roja accused Anita of making baseless claims through “senseless videos” and questioned her seriousness as a minister. “Are you a Home Minister or just an anchor?” she asked pointedly. Roja further said Anita lacked the stature to speak against YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The YSRCP leader insisted that the colleges built under Jagan’s leadership stand as proof of the party’s commitment to healthcare and education. Her sharp remarks add fuel to the ongoing political row between the ruling coalition and YSRCP over the privatization and functioning of government medical colleges.

Speaking to the media in Vijayawada, he said coalition leaders are maintaining restraint, which is why YSRCP leaders are still roaming the streets. Ravindra alleged that Jagan Reddy continues to attack the coalition out of frustration with the public’s support.

He said Jagan should feel ashamed for politicizing fertilizer supply. The government, Ravindra added, is ensuring urea supply as required and supporting farmers. He accused Jagan of trying to provoke people with conspiracies, assuring that farmers need not worry because the government stands firmly with them.

On medical colleges, Ravindra dismissed Jagan’s charges of privatization. He demanded Jagan explain how many colleges he completed in five years. He specifically challenged him to debate the Bandar Medical College works. Ravindra clarified that the government is developing medical colleges under the PPP model to improve infrastructure.

The minister alleged that Jagan incurred ₹6,000 crore debt in the name of medical colleges. He said once the works are completed, colleges will return to government control, making the accusations meaningless. Ravindra also accused Jagan of blocking PG seats and described his governance as destructive and shameful.

Andhra Pradesh politics has heated up over the issue of medical colleges. Former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the Chandrababu Naidu government of attempting to privatize the government medical colleges established during his tenure. At a public meeting, Jagan warned contractors, saying: “If anyone participates in these tenders, remember, once we return to power, we will cancel them.”

His remarks drew sharp criticism from the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Party leaders condemned Jagan’s statement as “rowdy politics,” arguing that the initiative is not privatization but rather a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model aimed at improving medical infrastructure.

TDP leader Nara Lokesh defended the government’s decision, claiming the PPP model would enhance healthcare facilities and create more opportunities for students. The warning from Jagan has now turned the issue into a major political fight, reflecting the deep divide between YSRCP and TDP on education and healthcare policies.
