On the last day of campaigning, Bhojpuri actresses Akshara Singh and Pakhi Hegde joined Tej Pratap Yadav in Mahua to seek votes. The two stars sang and danced, creating a festive atmosphere and drawing a massive crowd. Their presence added glamour and excitement to the Bihar Elections Mahua Campaign.

Tej Pratap Yadav, contesting from Mahua, took the stage to attack RJD’s Mukesh Roshan, calling him one of the “five Jaichands” of the party. He accused Roshan of taking the ticket fraudulently and dividing the RJD family. Earlier, Tej Pratap had also criticized his brother Tejashwi’s leadership and called RJD a “fake party.”

Actress Akshara Singh urged voters to support Tej Pratap, promising that Mahua would develop into an engineering hub if he won. She added that his victory would ensure progress and education for youth. With stars, songs, and strong words, Tej Pratap’s rally became one of the most talked-about events of the campaign.

In response, Tausif Alam threatened Tejashwi Yadav and insulted him by calling him the son of a fodder thief. BJP MP Ashok Kumar Yadav made bold remarks during a rally in Keoti, Darbhanga. He said, “When elections are held in Keoti, it feels like fighting a war on the Pakistani border.” His words added fuel to an already tense campaign.

Ashok Yadav urged people to vote for BJP’s candidate, Dr. Murari Mohan Jha. He told the crowd that many people enjoy government benefits but skip voting. “Come, Muslim brothers, join the mainstream and support the Bharatiya Janata Party,” he said. The comments quickly spread across Bihar, raising debate over his tone.

Union Minister Nityanand Rai also spoke at the rally. He warned that anyone changing Keoti’s demography or creating unrest would face jail. Rai highlighted the completion of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and work on the Janaki temple at Punuar Dham. His words mixed faith and politics to energize voters before the Bihar Elections.

During a rally in Vaishali’s Rajapakar constituency, Jitan Ram Manjhi praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying Modi’s 112-inch chest symbolizes unmatched strength and courage. Manjhi claimed that with Modi’s 112-inch chest, India could have captured Pakistan in just five hours if he had wished. However, he added that Modi stopped the war because he had no hatred toward the people of Pakistan.

Manjhi said Bihar is safe under Modi’s leadership and called Nitish Kumar a good Chief Minister who is taking Bihar toward development. He said the double-engine government of Modi and Nitish will continue improving the state. Targeting Tejashwi Yadav, Manjhi accused him of trying to steal Karpoori Thakur’s title of “People’s Leader” and claimed RJD only wants to regain power by any means.

He also mentioned that Prime Minister Modi will soon visit Bihar again for rallies in Nawada, Bhojpur, Ara, Bhagalpur, and Araria. Manjhi urged voters to support Nitish Kumar and Modi for a stable and developed Bihar.

They travelled in auto-rickshaws across Jubilee Hills, pledging support for the drivers and urging voters to reject the Congress in the upcoming bye-election.

K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused Rahul Gandhi and the Congress of betraying Telangana’s auto drivers. He reminded that during the 2023 election campaign, Rahul Gandhi had travelled with auto drivers and promised to set up a Welfare Board and provide ₹12,000 annual support. Two years later, not a single promise was fulfilled.

KTR met Mashrat Ali, the auto driver who once drove Rahul Gandhi in Hyderabad. Ali said he was forced to sell both his autos due to financial hardship. Now, he rents an auto daily for ₹400 to earn about ₹1,000. “Congress betrayed us,” Ali said. “We received no help.”

KTR said Ali’s struggle represents the real state of Congress governance.

The Punjab Roadways/PRTC Contract Workers Union has changed its Punjab Roadways bus service policy. The union said its members will no longer provide buses for political rallies. They will now drive only on daily passenger routes.

Union leaders said the government had ignored their demands for years, despite many promises. They also raised safety concerns after a violent attack in Tarn Taran. A Punjab Roadways bus carrying Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s rally was attacked near Moose village. Eyewitnesses said the attackers stopped the bus and opened fire. A party worker, Satinderpal Singh, was seriously injured.

After this attack, the union decided not to send any vehicle to political events until their issues are resolved. They said workers feel unsafe and will focus on regular public service.

This strong step shows that the workers value safety over politics and want the government to act quickly.

Youth Congress workers staged a black flag protest against Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan when he arrived at Kovalam on Friday to inaugurate the Kerala-European Union Blue Economy Conclave. The protest reflected growing frustration among opposition parties with the state government’s actions.

Police arrested at least five Youth Congress activists during the demonstration. Party leaders accused the Kerala government of using law enforcement to suppress opposition voices. In response, the Youth Congress called for statewide protests, urging supporters to demonstrate peacefully against political intimidation and to demand accountability from the ruling administration.

The Blue Economy Conclave, which focuses on sustainable marine and coastal initiatives, proceeded despite the disruption. Pinarayi Vijayan emphasized the importance of protecting Kerala’s marine resources and boosting economic growth through responsible policies. He also highlighted Kerala’s collaboration with the European Union to promote research, investment, and innovation in the blue economy sector.

Youth Congress leaders said the black flag protest aimed to raise awareness about government overreach and ensure citizens’ voices are not ignored. They stated that more rallies and peaceful demonstrations would follow across the state.

Political analysts note that tensions between the ruling party and opposition have intensified ahead of upcoming elections. The protest in Kovalam underscores the challenges the state government faces in balancing governance with political dissent.
