Tej Pratap Yadav Backs Action Against Insult to PM Modi’s Mother

Tej Pratap Yadav addressing media in Patna on PM Modi insult issue

Patna saw a major political development as Tej Pratap Yadav, former Bihar minister and Lalu Yadav’s son, spoke out strongly against the recent abuse of PM Narendra Modi and his mother. He demanded that the Bihar and central governments arrest the accused immediately. He warned that a movement will begin if the authorities delay action.

The controversy erupted during Tejashwi Yadav’s Bihar Adhikar Yatra rally in Patepur, Mahua, Vaishali, Tej Pratap’s former assembly constituency. A video from the rally went viral, showing derogatory remarks against the Prime Minister and his mother. The BJP reacted strongly. Nityanand Rai criticized Tejashwi Yadav, while Samrat Chaudhary pressed the RJD and Congress to apologize publicly.

Tej Pratap told reporters, “Insulting anyone’s mother is a crime. The guilty must be jailed immediately. If no action happens, a movement will start from Mahua.” He also blamed MLA Mukesh Roshan for failing to stop the incident.

The BJP said the abuse occurred while Tejashwi Yadav spoke on stage, and no one intervened. Police have arrested the accused. Tej Pratap’s statement aligns him with the BJP, increasing pressure on Bihar’s political leadership.
