Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad and founder of the Janshakti Janata Dal, says his life is in danger. Acting on his request, the central government has granted him Y-category security. The CRPF will guard him under the VIP protection list, deploying 11 commandos. Five will stay near his house, while six will work in three shifts.
Speaking to reporters, Tej Pratap said many people are plotting against him. He warned that some could even try to get him killed. He expressed relief that his demand for better security was accepted.
He also wished his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav, a happy 37th birthday. “I wish him a bright future. He has my blessings,” Tej Pratap said. Their sister, Misa Bharti, shared photos of the family celebration, showing Tejashwi cutting a cake.
Earlier in June, Tej Pratap had raised similar fears. He said his enemies were everywhere and trying to ruin his personal life. After being expelled from his father’s party, he formed his own—Janshakti Janata Dal—which will contest the Bihar elections.
