Bihar Elections Tej Pratap Yadav vs Mukesh Roshan

The Bihar Elections are heating up in the Mahua constituency of Vaishali district. The key contest is between Tej Pratap Yadav and Mukesh Roshan. Voting began early in the morning with long lines outside polling booths. The voter turnout has been strong, showing the high interest of local people.

Tej Pratap Yadav, son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, is contesting from Mahua after forming his own party, Janshakti Janata Dal. He left the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and said he will not return to it. Earlier, he won from Mahua in 2015 and Hasanpur in 2020. He has promised to build an international stadium and improve local facilities.

RJD has fielded Mukesh Roshan, the current MLA and a close supporter of Tejashwi Yadav. By 9 a.m., about 14.49% of voters had already cast their votes under tight security. The mood in Mahua is energetic, and both candidates are focusing on development and public trust. NDA’s Sanjay Kumar Singh from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is also competing for the seat.
