Tejashwi Slams Nitish’s ₹10,000 Women Scheme

Tejashwi Yadav slams ₹10,000 women scheme in Bihar

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has sharply criticized the Bihar government’s ₹10,000 women employment scheme. He alleged that the Nitish Kumar-led NDA is only offering this money before elections and will recover it afterward. Tejashwi called the move a political gimmick, accusing the government of copying the Grand Alliance’s Mai-Bhein scheme.

According to him, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar transferred ₹10,000 to 75 women in Bihar, but this benefit is only temporary. He claimed that after the Bihar elections, the same people would demand the money back.

Tejashwi further hit back at Modi’s remarks that women did not step out during RJD’s rule. He argued that women were active in society during his government and accused the BJP-JD(U) alliance of making false claims for votes.

The debate over the ₹10,000 scheme has now turned into a major political flashpoint in Bihar, with both sides using women’s welfare as a campaign tool.
