Tejashwi Yadav, the main leader of the Grand Alliance in Bihar Election 2025, refused to respond to Asaduddin Owaisi’s comment on Muslim representation. When asked about appointing a Muslim deputy CM, he smiled and said, “Leave it, what can I say.” He quickly changed the topic and spoke about his promises.
Owaisi had questioned why the alliance offered the deputy CM post to a 3% community but ignored Bihar’s 17% Muslim population. His words started a political debate across the state.
Tejashwi said his focus was on delivering promises like the Old Pension Scheme and hostels for journalists. He also assured local postings for teachers, nurses, and police staff within 70 km of their homes.
Later, Tejashwi replied to BJP leader Giriraj Singh, saying his government did more work in 18 months than Singh did in his career.
The Bihar Election 2025 will happen in two phases on November 6 and 11, with counting on November 14.
