Tejashwi Yadav Claims Clean Sweep for Mahagathbandhan in Bihar 2025 Assembly Elections
Bihar’s 2025 Assembly elections appear to be delivering a strong mandate for the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), according to party leader Tejashwi Yadav. Speaking after preliminary results and trends, Yadav claimed that the alliance is on track for a clean sweep in the state, reflecting public support for its policies and governance promises.
Tejashwi Yadav also questioned the credibility of exit polls and surveys released by various agencies, suggesting that they may not accurately reflect voter sentiment. He emphasised that the official results would ultimately confirm the mandate, urging citizens and media outlets to wait for formal announcements.
The Mahagathbandhan, comprising parties such as the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Indian National Congress, and others, campaigned on development, employment, and social welfare. Analysts are closely watching the results, as a decisive victory could shape the political landscape of Bihar for the next five years and strengthen the alliance’s position in national politics.
