The Bihar political scene is heating up with strong accusations of corruption. JDU leader Neeraj Kumar hit back at RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, reminding that he is an accused in the IRCTC scam. He also linked Tejashwi’s father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, to the fodder scam, claiming both father and son represent corruption and hooliganism.
Neeraj Kumar said Nitish Kumar stands for honesty and development, while accusing RJD of shielding corrupt officials during its rule. He added that Lalu Prasad protected scams carried out by his ministers and passed the legacy of corruption to Tejashwi.
On the other hand, Tejashwi Yadav accused the Bihar government of large-scale corruption. He announced that he will release a list of corrupt officials and politicians soon. He alleged that contracts worth ₹700 crore for cleaning government buildings in Patna were part of organized corruption. According to him, engineers and officials are making crores due to political protection, leaving no action against them.
With Bihar assembly elections near, the IRCTC scam has become a key flashpoint, as both JDU and RJD exchange sharp allegations.
