Tejashwi Yadav’s dance on the banks of the Ganga river has caught the attention of many, but not all reactions have been positive. Upendra Kushwaha, a leader from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), sarcastically commented that dancing by the river won’t make someone a chief minister. He advised Yadav to focus on maintaining his image rather than performing for public attention.
The dance video, featuring Yadav with local youth in Patna, went viral after it was shared online. While some appreciated the youthful energy, others, like Kushwaha, criticized it as a political stunt. Kushwaha also suggested that Yadav needed to be careful with his public appearances.
In response, Yadav explained in a tweet that he had recently visited Singapore and met many artists. He also mentioned the vibrant street performances he saw there, which he described as a celebration of youth culture.
While the dance sparked debate, it also showed how politicians are under constant scrutiny, even for their informal actions.
