Tejashwi’s troubles mount! Soren demands 12 seats for JMM in Bihar

Bihar seat-sharing crisis deepens as JMM(Soren) , CPI(ML), and VIP demand more seats, testing Tejashwi Yadav’s leadership

The Bihar seat-sharing crisis has deepened as allies of the Grand Alliance clash over seat demands ahead of assembly elections. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), led by Hemant Soren, has demanded 12 seats in border and tribal regions like Tarapur, Banka, and Jamalpur. This Bihar seat-sharing issue has sparked tensions within the coalition.

Adding to Tejashwi Yadav’s troubles, CPI(ML) rejected RJD’s offer of 19 seats and demanded 30, aiming for stronger presence in Madhubani, Gaya, and Champaran. Similarly, Mukesh Sahni’s VIP Party also insisted on 30 seats, claiming wide support across Bihar. These rising demands have complicated Tejashwi’s leadership challenge within the alliance.

Tejashwi must now balance Left, regional, and Congress pressures to maintain unity against NDA. The outcome of this Bihar seat-sharing crisis could shape the future of the Grand Alliance and the entire election strategy in the state.
