Telangana Aims to Develop Hyderabad as a Global Healthcare Hub: Minister

Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu stated that the state government’s vision is to transform Hyderabad into a ‘Global Healthcare Hub’. The announcement came during the inauguration of the HCA Global Capability Center (GCC) in Rayadurg on Wednesday.

HCA, a globally renowned healthcare company with operations in the USA and the UK, manages 190 hospitals and 2,400 care sites worldwide. The minister highlighted that the GCC in Rayadurg will strengthen Hyderabad’s position in the global healthcare ecosystem, providing employment opportunities and boosting medical technology and services in the region.

Sridhar Babu emphasized that Telangana is focused on integrating healthcare with technology and attracting international healthcare investments to the state. This initiative is expected to enhance patient care, research capabilities, and medical infrastructure, positioning Hyderabad as a key international healthcare destination.
