Union Minister Kishan Reddy strongly countered Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments that “bad brothers” are blocking Telangana’s development. Addressing the media at the BJP state office, Kishan accused the CM of ignoring his election promises. He said Revanth Reddy failed to explain what promises were fulfilled even after two years in power.
Kishan claimed the Chief Minister was speaking out of frustration, fearing a possible defeat in the upcoming by-election. He predicted that the Congress Party would lose in Jubilee Hills and alleged that Revanth Reddy’s criticism of the Prime Minister and BJP was baseless. The Minister demanded that the CM stop making false allegations against the Centre and focus on governance.
He further slammed Revanth for claiming that BJP and BRS were secretly working together. Kishan reminded that similar propaganda was spread during the Parliamentary elections. He said no one in Telangana fears Revanth Reddy and that the Centre’s support for state development doesn’t need his certification.
Kishan also alleged that Congress and BRS had reached an understanding in Delhi. He challenged Revanth to provide evidence if he truly believed BJP and BRS were allies, warning against irresponsible political statements.
