Telangana CM Revanth Reddy visited Khairatabad Vinayaka on Friday, offering special prayers to Bojja Ganapayya before the immersion of the Khairatabad Maha Ganapati on Saturday. The visit was a celebration of the festival’s 71 years of tradition, with the Chief Minister acknowledging the efforts of the Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Committee. “What began 71 years ago has now become a national celebration,” said Revanth Reddy. He also praised the committee for overcoming challenges and organizing the event with grandeur.

Revanth Reddy emphasized the government’s commitment to the festival, including providing free electricity to Ganesh mandapams, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the country. The CM assured the public that all arrangements for the immersion of the idol were in place, reinforcing Hyderabad’s status as a model of religious harmony.

In a separate meeting, Revanth Reddy met with representatives of Germany’s Bebig Medical Company, who expressed interest in setting up a medical equipment manufacturing unit in Telangana. The CM promised full government support and urged them to consider opening radiation centers for cancer treatment in government hospitals.
