Hyderabad: Telangana will launch Panula Jathara 2025 Telangana tomorrow. The Panchayat Raj Department will take up 1,01,589 rural works with an outlay of ₹2,198.83 crore.
The programme aims to boost rural infrastructure. Works include Anganwadi and Gram Panchayat buildings, school toilets, cattle and poultry sheds, farm ponds, open wells, nurseries, plantations, CC roads, water harvesting ponds, fish ponds, and check dams.
Officials call the initiative a people’s movement for rural progress. Communities will help plan and monitor the works. Ministers, MPs, and MLAs have been invited to join the launch and oversee projects in their areas.
The government expects wide benefits. Agriculture will get stronger with farm ponds, water bodies, and plantations. Villagers will gain better civic amenities such as toilets, roads, and public buildings. Employment opportunities are also likely to grow.
Panula Jathara 2025 Telangana focuses on sustainability and water conservation. The state hopes these measures will secure long-term benefits for rural families.
By combining development with community participation, the programme is expected to transform villages. The initiative is projected to become a model of balanced rural growth for Telangana.
