Telangana Plans ₹60,799 Crore Road Revolution: Komatireddy’s Big Infrastructure Push

Telangana launches ₹60,799 crore road development plan to boost infrastructure, rural jobs, and industrial connectivity.

Telangana Minister for Roads and Buildings, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, announced a record-breaking ₹60,799 crore investment for road infrastructure development across the state. Speaking at the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign, he thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for their support in releasing funds for road projects.

The minister said improved infrastructure will turn Telangana into a major hub for multinational companies. He added that this growth will attract massive investments and create employment opportunities for rural youth. Komatireddy expressed confidence that Telangana’s development model will inspire other states.

He revealed that the government will expand the Hyderabad–Vijayawada highway into an eight-lane corridor at a cost of ₹10,400 crore.In addition, the ₹36,000 crore Regional Ring Road project will soon begin, reshaping connectivity across the state.

Komatireddy also announced ₹11,399 crore for new rural roads, double-lane upgrades, and ₹8,000 crore for a 52 km elevated corridor from Mannanur to Srisailam. The government plans a ₹20,000 crore Greenfield highway from Future City to Bandar Port via Amaravati, making Telangana a national infrastructure leader.
