Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district has received a major public-transport boost with the approval of a new bus stand for villages 29 DWD and Chk 9 DWD on the Rawatsar–Sardarshahar Mega Highway. Deputy Chief Minister and Transport Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa swiftly granted this long-pending demand, ending years of travel inconvenience for thousands of villagers.
Residents earlier had to walk long distances or depend on costly private vehicles due to the absence of a local bus stop. The new facility ensures that all RSRTC buses — including ordinary and express services — will now halt regularly in these villages, improving access to education, healthcare, jobs, and markets.
This approval came after BJP Youth Morcha District President Sushil Joshi submitted a memorandum highlighting villagers’ difficulties. Taking immediate note, Dr. Bairwa ordered the Transport Department to act quickly, following which RSRTC Hanumangarh issued an official notification.
The decision is expected to greatly benefit students, farmers, labourers, women, and senior citizens by ensuring safer and smoother travel.
