A protester holds a sign related to the release of the Jeffrey Epstein case files outside the US Capitol in Washington, DC, November 12, 2025. Democrats released emails Wednesday in which Jeffrey Epstein suggested Donald Trump was aware of the disgraced financier's sexual abuse and had "spent hours" with one of his victims at his house. Trump has denied any knowledge of the sex-trafficking activities of his former friend, who died by suicide in 2019 as he was in prison awaiting trial, and the White House accused Democrats of pushing a "fake narrative" by sharing the mails. The trump calls for epstein files release debate grew stronger on Sunday after US President Donald Trump openly asked Republicans to release the documents. He said on Truth Social that he has nothing to hide and wants the country to move forward. The trump calls for epstein files release message marked a clear shift from his earlier position.

Trump also accused Democrats of spreading an “Epstein hoax”. He reacted to old emails in which Jeffrey Epstein claimed Trump “knew about the girls”. Trump denied the claim and said the Justice Department already shared thousands of pages with the public.
Moreover, he urged Republicans to stay focused on major issues like inflation, jobs, border security, and investment.

Meanwhile, social media reacted strongly to a new set of emails from Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein. In one email, Mark asked Steve Bannon if Vladimir Putin holds a photo of “Trump blowing Bubba”. Many users linked “Bubba” to former President Bill Clinton, who has denied all wrongdoing connected to Epstein.
As a result, the online debate grew even louder.

Trump said the nation should stop wasting time on rumors. Therefore, he wants all legal documents released so that people can finally move on.
