Uber Expansion in Hyderabad – Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi meets CM Revanth Reddy

The Uber expansion in Hyderabad gained momentum after Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi met Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in the city. The meeting focused on strengthening the company’s operations and exploring new investment opportunities in the state. The Uber expansion in Hyderabad is expected to boost technology development and create more jobs in the region.

Uber announced plans to expand its Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad, which currently employs around 600 engineers. This facility is the company’s first such centre outside the United States and plays an important role in developing global technology solutions.

During the meeting, Uber also showed interest in setting up a corporate office in the upcoming Bharat Future City near Hyderabad. The Telangana government assured full support for the company’s expansion plans.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also suggested that Uber could help solve urban parking problems by exploring multi-level parking facilities and EV charging stations in major cities.

The proposed expansion highlights Hyderabad’s growing role as a global technology hub and may attract more international companies to invest in the region.
