Congress leader Udit Raj said the BJP is trying to weaken Nitish Kumar in Bihar, just like Eknath Shinde in Maharashtra. He claimed the BJP wants Nitish to hold power in name only while they control the real decisions.
Raj made this attack after Congress declared Tejashwi Yadav as the Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial candidate for the 2025 Bihar elections. He said, “The NDA never confirms if Nitish will remain Chief Minister. The BJP plans to make him another Eknath Shinde.”
Raj warned that Nitish has been betrayed and said a political plot is forming in Bihar. He reminded people how Eknath Shinde, once Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, lost his top post after the 2024 election. Devendra Fadnavis of the BJP became Chief Minister again, while Shinde was made Deputy Chief Minister.
Raj said the same story is repeating in Bihar. He urged voters to see through BJP’s plan and support the Grand Alliance.
