In the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election, a significant mobilization of unemployed youth has emerged in opposition to the Congress party. According to reports, several jobless groups are preparing to file nominations in large numbers as a mark of protest. Among them, Asma, an unemployed youth leader, has announced her decision to contest as an independent candidate, symbolizing the growing frustration among educated but jobless sections.
Leaders of the Unemployed Joint Action Committee (JAC) have publicly extended their support to Asma’s candidature, emphasizing that her participation represents the collective voice of the unemployed community. They asserted that the campaign will be conducted with unity and determination to ensure Asma’s victory.
The movement underscores the increasing political assertion of unemployed youth, who are demanding recognition, employment opportunities, and accountability from the ruling establishment in the context of the by-election.
