Public Holiday Latest News: The Uttar Pradesh government has officially revised the date of the gazetted holiday declared on the occasion of Guru Tegh Bahadur’s martyrdom day. The holiday, earlier scheduled for November 24, will now be observed on November 25. An official notification confirming this change was issued on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the government modified the holiday list after internal discussion and approved the new date. With this revision, all government offices across Uttar Pradesh will remain closed on November 25.
The order, issued by Manish Chauhan, Principal Secretary (General Administration), states that the change has been made after proper consideration at the government level. The updated date will apply to all state government departments and offices.
This decision brings relief and clarity to government employees, who will now receive a confirmed public holiday on November 25.
