Upendra Kushwaha NDA fifth Rajya Sabha candidate filed his nomination in Patna along with senior NDA leaders. Upendra Kushwaha NDA fifth Rajya Sabha candidate joined other alliance nominees as they prepared for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Bihar.
The National Democratic Alliance has fielded Kushwaha as its fifth candidate for the Upper House. He submitted his papers with BJP leader Nitin Nabin and other alliance representatives. Senior party leaders and supporters were present during the nomination process.
The NDA aims to win all five Rajya Sabha seats from Bihar. The alliance feels confident because of its strong numbers in the state assembly. However, the fifth seat may see close competition if opposition parties unite.
Political observers say Kushwaha’s entry adds strength to the NDA’s strategy in Bihar. The Rajya Sabha elections will take place later this month if voting becomes necessary.
