Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) has released the Upendra Kushwaha RLM candidates list for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Out of six seats given under the NDA alliance, RLM announced four names. Kushwaha’s wife, Snehlata, will contest from Sasaram. Other candidates include Madhav Anand from Madhubani, Prashant Kumar Pankaj from Ujiarpur, and Alok Kumar Singh from Dinara. Two seats—Bajpatti and Paru—are yet to be declared.
Initially, Kushwaha was upset with the NDA’s seat-sharing deal, especially after losing the Mahua seat to Chirag Paswan’s LJP. Following discussions with Union Minister Nityanand Rai and Home Minister Amit Shah, Kushwaha agreed to the arrangement. He accepted the Paru seat and an MLC position in return.
This development highlights the delicate balance within the NDA as regional parties finalize their candidates. The Upendra Kushwaha RLM candidates list reflects both compromise and political strategy in Bihar’s electoral landscape.
