US 21-Point Plan for Gaza Peace and Future Palestinian State

US 21-Point Gaza Peace Plan

The United States has put forward a 21-point peace plan to end the Gaza war and open a path toward a Palestinian state, NDTV reported. The plan was shared with Arab and Muslim nations during the UN General Assembly.

The proposal calls for the immediate release of hostages and amnesty for Hamas members who agree to live peacefully. Those who refuse will be allowed safe passage to other countries. Palestinians will not be forced to leave Gaza. Instead, they will receive support to rebuild their lives in the Strip.

The plan also promises 600 trucks of aid each day, rubble removal, and rebuilding projects. Neutral international groups like the UN will handle the distribution of supplies.

Gaza would be run by a temporary administration of Palestinian experts, backed by an international committee led by the US, Arab states, and Europe. Hamas will have no role in governance, and all tunnels and weapons will be dismantled.

Israel will begin a phased withdrawal while international forces step in to keep order and train Palestinian police. Later, if reforms succeed, the plan could lead to a recognized Palestinian state.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, however, strongly rejected the idea of a two-state solution.
