Telangana Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy has categorically denied any involvement in the ongoing Deccan Cement company controversy. Speaking briefly to the media, Uttam clarified that he has no connection with the issue and does not wish to comment further on the matter.
He pointed out that even Minister Konda Surekha’s daughter had confirmed that he had no role in the controversy, putting speculation to rest. The issue comes amid reports of tensions between Minister Konda Surekha and a few other cabinet colleagues, which have drawn significant political attention.
The Congress high command has reportedly taken note of the developments, and party in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan is said to have stepped in to mediate and defuse the situation within the state cabinet.
