A Uttar Pradesh man crushed by truck in Buxar died after a violent dispute between two truck drivers on a highway in Bihar. The incident happened late Saturday night in the Naya Bhojpur police station area of Buxar district.
According to police, two truck drivers started arguing while trying to overtake each other on the road. The argument quickly turned into a fight. During the clash, one driver stepped out of his truck and rushed toward the other driver with an iron rod. At that moment, the second driver suddenly drove his truck forward and ran him over. The Uttar Pradesh man crushed by truck in Buxar died on the spot.
The victim was identified as Pankaj Yadav, a resident of Mau district in Uttar Pradesh. Police later arrested the accused driver, Nitish Yadav from Ambedkar Nagar, and seized the truck involved in the incident.
Police sent the body for post-mortem in Buxar and started legal action after receiving a complaint from the victim’s family. Officers said the clash happened when many trucks were heading toward sand loading points at night.
