He revealed that the initiative involves a massive $15 billion investment, featuring a 1 gigawatt data center, advanced energy infrastructure, and a fiber-optic network to support large-scale AI operations.
Pichai described the Visakhapatnam center as Google’s largest AI investment outside the United States, crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and India’s digital momentum for making it possible.
