The Bihar Assembly elections 2025 will be held in two phases, as announced by the Election Commission. In the first phase, voting will take place for 121 seats on November 6, and the second phase for 122 seats on November 11. The Bihar Assembly elections 2025 results will be declared on November 14.
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said that 7.42 crore voters will cast their votes across 90,700 polling booths, including 1,044 run by women and 1,000 model booths. Each polling station will serve no more than 1,200 voters to ensure convenience and safety.
All polling stations will be located on the ground floor for the elderly and disabled. Illegal transactions and candidate expenses will be closely monitored. Over 14 lakh first-time voters will participate, and new voter ID cards have been issued within 15 days.
Voters can carry their mobile phones to the booth but must deposit them outside before voting. Around 8.5 lakh election staff will manage the process. Citizens can reach the Election Commission by dialing 1950 or contacting BLOs through ECINET for any election-related assistance.
