The Bihar Assembly elections 2025 will begin soon. The Election Commission will announce the dates today at 4 PM. Officials say the voting may happen in one or two phases across the state.
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and his team visited Patna last week. They reviewed all election work before returning to Delhi. The voter list was updated on September 30. This has already raised excitement among voters and parties.
Representatives of political parties met district officers and received copies of the election guidelines. Training for polling staff has also started. The NDA and Grand Alliance are now preparing for seat-sharing and candidate lists.
This year’s Bihar Assembly elections could be historic. Earlier polls were held in three rounds in 2020, five in 2015, and six in 2010. A one or two-phase poll would be the shortest since 2005.
The Bihar Assembly elections 2025 are set to bring high political energy and tough competition across the state.
