Political tensions escalated in *Station Ghanpur constituency* after former Deputy CM *Thatikonda Rajaiah* launched a scathing attack on MLA *Kadiyam Srihari, demanding his resignation. Rajaiah declared that if Srihari had any *“honor or manhood,” he should step down from his position, accusing him of switching parties for personal gain. He alleged that Srihari sold his loyalty for *₹200 crore* and even compromised for his daughter’s political future.
Rajaiah further criticized Srihari for lacking the courage to declare his political allegiance openly and claimed that even Congress workers were unhappy with his conduct. Citing Supreme Court directives, he urged Speaker *Gaddam Prasad Kumar* to disqualify Srihari immediately.
Meanwhile, as Rajaiah planned a tour in *Raghunathapally mandal, police placed him under **house arrest, citing possible unrest. The move triggered protests from **BRS leaders and cadres*, creating a tense atmosphere in the constituency.
