YS Jagan to Appear Before CBI Court Tomorrow

YS Jagan CBI appearance ordered as court rejects exemption and directs him to attend hearings linked to discharge petitions.

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will appear before the CBI Special Court on Thursday. He submitted a request seeking exemption from personal attendance. Officials said the court received the request earlier this week. His appearance is linked to hearings in ongoing cases involving discharge petitions.

The CBI responded that Jagan has avoided personal appearance for nearly six years. The agency informed the court that hearings on discharge petitions are happening daily. According to officials, the CBI argued that Jagan’s presence is required during the ongoing process. The CBI stated that his absence has caused repeated delays.

Following the CBI’s submission, the court instructed YS Jagan to appear in person on or before November 21. The order was issued to ensure smooth progress in the pending matters. The court emphasized that personal attendance is essential at this stage. Officials expect the next hearings to continue without interruptions.

In compliance with the order, Jagan has decided to attend the court a day earlier. His appearance is expected to draw significant attention due to the political implications. Party members and legal teams are preparing for the hearing, which is likely to influence further proceedings.
