A 13-year-old boy from Afghanistan was discovered inside the landing gear of a Kam Air flight at Delhi’s IGI Airport. Airport security personnel were shocked by the unexpected discovery.
The boy explained that he had entered a restricted airport area out of curiosity and climbed into the landing gear compartment. He was immediately taken into custody by CISF officials for questioning.
Flight safety concerns were raised following the incident. Authorities conducted thorough anti-sabotage checks on the plane. Traveling in a landing gear compartment is extremely dangerous due to lack of oxygen, extreme cold, and moving mechanical parts.
Fortunately, the boy survived unharmed and was later sent back to Afghanistan under official supervision. Aviation experts have called for stricter security measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
