TRE-4 Teacher Recruitment Protest Rocks Patna

TRE-4 teacher recruitment protest in Patna

Thousands of candidates gathered in Patna on Friday for a massive TRE-4 teacher recruitment protest. They demanded the release of the TRE-4 advertisement and the appointment of 1.20 lakh teachers before the election code of conduct comes into effect.

Protesters came from different districts of Bihar and flooded the streets of the capital. They shouted slogans, asking the government to speed up the hiring process. Many stressed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had promised teacher recruitment under TRE-4, but no final steps had been taken.

The police were on full alert. Security forces set up barricades to stop protesters from reaching sensitive areas like the Secretariat and the Chief Minister’s residence. At Ramgulam Chowk, police blocked demonstrators and prepared water cannons to control any emergency situation.

Candidates said the delay was unfair and urged the government to release the official advertisement soon. They warned that the agitation would intensify if their demand for 1.20 lakh teacher jobs was ignored.

The TRE-4 teacher recruitment protest has now become a major pressure point for the state government ahead of the elections.
