AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said the Waqf Act was brought to snatch Muslims’ sacred places. He made this remark while addressing a rally in Kishanganj, Bihar, on September 24, 2025. At the same event, he launched the Seemanchal Nyay Yatra, a three-day campaign to expand his party’s reach before the Assembly polls. Owaisi repeated that the Waqf Act was brought to snatch Muslims’ sacred places such as mosques, idgahs, and graveyards.
Owaisi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of acting with bad intent. He declared that properties of Allah cannot be taken away. “Muslims will continue to pray at mosques till the end of time,” he told the crowd. He added that BJP and RSS would not succeed in grabbing holy places.
The Hyderabad MP also attacked opposition parties like RJD, Congress, and the Left. He said Muslims supported them for decades but gained little in return. He asked the community to stop carrying others’ political burdens.
Owaisi urged Muslims to focus on their own future. He called on the youth to demand justice and opportunities. His speech has stirred the political scene in Bihar ahead of the polls.
