PK Factor Pushes AAP into the Election Battle

PK factor in Bihar elections, AAP Bihar entry, Kejriwal Bihar campaign

The PK factor in Bihar elections seems to have played a major role in AAP’s sudden entry into the state’s political scene. With polls scheduled for November 6 and 11, excitement is high as Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party rises as a new force. AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal, announced its first list of 11 candidates, marking its debut in Bihar.

Though AAP earlier worked with RJD on national issues, it decided to contest independently this time. Sources suggest Prashant Kishor’s growing influence drove AAP’s move—around 50% of AAP’s Bihar workers had joined Jan Suraj earlier. Now, many are returning after AAP’s decision to contest.

Bihar AAP chief Rakesh Yadav confirmed receiving 6,000 ticket applications. He emphasized that AAP’s Bihar model, like its Delhi and Punjab success, will focus on education and health reforms. Despite differing views within the INDIA alliance, AAP leaders say this decision won’t affect national unity.
