The Patna High Court Reetlal Yadav campaign ban has created big news before the Bihar Elections 2025. RJD leader Ritesh Lal Yadav, known as Reetlal Yadav, was denied bail for campaigning. Justice Arun Kumar Jha clearly said the court would not give him any relief.
The court, however, allowed him to apply for temporary bail from the MP MLA court. Earlier, Reetlal Yadav had filed his nomination under police protection. He was taken from Bhagalpur jail to Danapur to submit his papers and then sent back.
His lawyer, Yogesh Chandra Verma, asked for four weeks’ bail for campaigning. The state’s lawyer, P.K. Shahi, said the plea was invalid and must go to a lower court.
