Tejashwi Leads CM Race, NDA Ahead in Seats

Bihar Election Survey 2025 results chart showing Tejashwi Yadav leading CM race

The Bihar Election Survey 2025 reveals interesting trends as voting day nears. Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD leader and Grand Alliance’s CM candidate, tops the list of popular Chief Minister choices. According to the JVC Poll, 33% of people prefer Tejashwi Yadav, while 29% support current CM Nitish Kumar. Chirag Paswan and Prashant Kishor follow with 10% each, and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary gets 9%.

The survey, held between October 23 and 30 among 32,657 respondents, shows mixed results. Although Tejashwi Yadav leads in popularity, the Bihar Election Survey 2025 projects the NDA to win more assembly seats. NDA could secure 120–140 seats, while the Grand Alliance may get 93–112. BJP is expected to win 70–81 seats, JDU 42–48, and LJP (Ram Vilas) 5–7. RJD may secure 69–78, and Congress could struggle with 9–17 seats.

The survey indicates that while Tejashwi’s popularity rises, Nitish’s NDA remains electorally stronger.
