Ritu Jaiswal New Party: Bihar Leader Plans to Launch Her Own Political Front

Ritu Jaiswal new party plans in Bihar political news

Rumours about a Ritu Jaiswal new party are growing in Bihar. Former RJD Mahila Morcha president Ritu Jaiswal has signalled that she may start a new political front. She said she will interact with the youth and women of Bihar over the next few months. After these talks, the idea of a Ritu Jaiswal new party could move forward.

Ritu wants a party that gives fair space to women, supports young leaders, stops the sale of tickets, and removes nepotism. She also invited public suggestions and welcomed open criticism.

Her move began after she was denied the RJD ticket for the Parihar seat in the 2025 Bihar elections. Earlier, she lost the 2020 election when the party selected Smita Gupta, daughter-in-law of senior RJD leader Ramchandra Purve. Feeling sidelined, Ritu contested as an independent. She secured 65,000 votes, pushing the RJD candidate to third place and helping BJP’s Gayatri Devi win with 82,000 votes.

This result strengthened Ritu Jaiswal’s belief that she has strong public support. Now, her plan to form a new party could shake Bihar’s political landscape, especially among women and young voters.
