The Tejashwi Yadav foreign trip controversy has taken a new turn after Janata Dal (United) leader Neeraj Kumar wrote to Bihar Director General of Police Vinay Kumar. He alleged that RJD leader and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav travelled abroad with people who have criminal backgrounds.
In his complaint, Neeraj Kumar named Ramiz Nemat Khan, described as a history-sheeter from Uttar Pradesh, and Deva Gupta, a former election candidate. He claimed media reports suggested both were part of the foreign trip.
Kumar said Ramiz Nemat Khan has serious criminal links. He also pointed out that Ramiz’s father-in-law is currently in jail in a murder case. According to him, the presence of such individuals with a senior political leader raises major law-and-order concerns.
The JDU leader asked the DGP to verify travel records and keep strict police monitoring on the individuals mentioned. He stressed that public representatives must maintain transparency and avoid questionable associations.
The Tejashwi Yadav foreign trip controversy has added to the political tension in Bihar, with ruling party leaders demanding accountability while the RJD is yet to issue a detailed response.
