Bihar BJP president Sanjay Sarawagi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday. During the meeting, he presented a Punoura Dham memento to the Prime Minister. The Punoura Dham memento highlighted Bihar’s cultural and religious heritage and drew special attention during the interaction.
The memento featured an artistic image of Punoura Dham, which is believed to be the birthplace of Goddess Sita. Sarawagi also gifted a traditional Madhubani painting shawl, reflecting Bihar’s rich folk art. The Prime Minister appreciated the gesture and praised Bihar’s cultural legacy.
This was Sarawagi’s first formal meeting with PM Modi after becoming the Bihar BJP president. During the discussion, both leaders spoke about development work in Bihar. They focused on infrastructure, employment, and welfare schemes for the people.
The leaders also discussed ways to promote tourism linked to religious and historical sites. Punoura Dham was mentioned as an important destination that could attract more visitors in the future.
After the meeting, Sarawagi described the interaction as encouraging. He said the Prime Minister’s guidance would help strengthen the party and support Bihar’s overall progress.
