Now easier to reach Purnea Airport to catch flight – BSRTC buses operating from Nepal border

Now easier to reach Purnea Airport to catch flight as Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has started two new bus services from the Nepal border. Now easier to reach Purnea Airport to catch flight for passengers coming from Jogbani and nearby areas in Seemanchal.

The buses connect Purnea Airport directly with Jogbani, located near the India-Nepal border. This service benefits travelers from Araria, Forbesganj, and even Nepal. Many passengers earlier depended on private vehicles or expensive taxis. The new buses offer a more affordable and reliable option.

One bus leaves Purnea Airport at 9:45 am and another at 2:45 pm for Jogbani. From Jogbani, buses depart at 6:30 am and 2:30 pm to the airport. The schedule allows passengers to match their journey with flight timings.

Officials say the service runs under a special permit. The move is expected to improve regional connectivity and increase passenger traffic at the airport.
