A tragic Nawada school van accident in Bihar claimed the life of a 10-year-old student and left around 25 children injured on Monday morning. The Nawada school van accident happened near Harnarayanpur village in the Govindpur police station area when a van carrying schoolchildren lost control and overturned.

The victim was identified as Arohi Kumari, a young student from Darshan village. She died on the spot after the vehicle overturned on the roadside. Several other children suffered injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals, including Nawada Sadar Hospital, for treatment.

Eyewitnesses said the van was moving at high speed before the driver lost control. Local residents quickly reached the scene and helped rescue the trapped students.

Villagers accused the driver of driving under the influence of alcohol and attacked him in anger. Police reached the spot, rescued the driver from the crowd, and took him into custody. Authorities have started an investigation into the incident.

The accident has raised serious concerns about the safety of school transport vehicles in the area.
