The Bihta Engineering Student Murder case has shocked residents near Patna after police revealed that the victim’s boyfriend allegedly killed her during a dispute. The incident happened in the Bihta area of Patna district.
According to police, the victim and the accused studied together in a private engineering college and were in a relationship. During an argument, the accused allegedly strangled the girl, leading to the Bihta Engineering Student Murder that has now become a serious criminal case.
Police said the girl’s body was found in her rented room in Raghopur village. Officers reached the spot after receiving information and later arrested the accused, identified as Atharv Srivastava alias Raj.
The victim was originally from Aurangabad district and had been living in Bihta for her studies. Investigators are waiting for the post-mortem report to confirm the exact cause of death.
Police have sent the accused to jail and continue to investigate the incident.
