A shocking Nalanda boy eyes gouged out incident has sparked outrage in Bihar. A 12-year-old boy lost his eyesight after neighbors allegedly attacked him during a dispute in Nalanda district. The brutal assault has left the child permanently blind and shocked the local community.
According to reports, the Nalanda boy eyes gouged out case happened in Lohra village under the Harnaut police station area. The victim, Sunny Kumar, a Class 8 student, had earlier been involved in a minor quarrel while playing with another child from the neighborhood. The disagreement later created tension between the two families.
Police said the accused allegedly attacked the boy when he was alone. They reportedly beat him badly and damaged both of his eyes. Doctors later confirmed that the child is unlikely to regain his eyesight.
The incident has created anger among villagers, who are demanding strict action against the accused. Police have detained a suspect and started an investigation while increasing patrols in the village.
