Doctors transfers under GO 38 will follow clear and fair rules, said Damodara Rajanarsimha, Health Minister of Telangana. He met leaders of the Government Doctors Association at the Secretariat on Monday.
The minister said the government will conduct doctors transfers under GO 38 according to official guidelines. He assured doctors that the process will remain transparent.
Association members shared several requests during the meeting. They asked the government to conduct transfers offline like previous general transfers. They also requested exemption for association office bearers.
Doctors also asked the government to allow those who completed two years of service to take part in the transfer process.
The minister said the government is improving medical education and healthcare across the state. He asked doctors to support efforts to provide better services to people.
Officials said the department will plan transfers based on the needs of hospitals and medical colleges.
