The AAP slams Modi government for mishandling a series of domestic and international challenges, the party said on Sunday. Highlighting both internal unrest and foreign policy issues, the Aam Aadmi Party accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of failing to protect India’s borders, maintain law and order, and safeguard the country’s international reputation.
A poster shared on X by AAP listed several ongoing crises, including the tariff dispute with the United States, ethnic clashes in Manipur, alleged Chinese border incursions, and violent protests in Ladakh. The graphic read, “Neither the country’s borders are safe in Modi’s hands, nor is the country’s honour,” and asked, “Is this Modi’s guarantee?” The party specifically noted that the government was unable to manage situations in America, China, Ladakh, Manipur, Uttarakhand, and Assam.
Domestically, AAP pointed out that Manipur remains politically unstable more than two years after deadly ethnic clashes, while Assam continues to witness violent protests demanding Scheduled Tribe status for the Koch-Rajbongshi community. Uttarakhand also experienced mass protests over irregularities in recruitment examinations.
On the international front, the party cited strained India-US relations following tariffs on Indian goods and restrictions on oil trade with Russia, as well as alleged Chinese settlements along the border. Violent clashes in Ladakh over statehood protests were also highlighted.
According to AAP, these incidents collectively reveal the central government’s failure to handle critical domestic and diplomatic issues. The party called on the government to restore order, protect citizens, and strengthen India’s international standing, warning that mismanagement could threaten both national security and social harmony.
